WELCOME back to the 2010/2011 school year! The year will be full of exciting and fun filled challenges for the students. The school wide goal this year is to improve literacy and student retention.

CASI testing has been completed and results will be posted in each of the grade 5 and 6 classrooms. CASI is an assesment tool used by teachers to determine a students reading and comprehension abilities. A smart goal has been set based on the CASI results.

SMART GOAL: 60% of students will score level 3 or 4 on summarizing and main idea thinking on CASI test by January 25th.
